  • Applications are available year-round. However, it’s important to highlight that the program begins twice a year, specifically on Saturdays, providing a part-time schedule.

Learners will undergo internal assessment, which includes both formative and summative assignments, tests, and projects. Upon successful completion of the summative assessment, participants will become eligible for certification in the short course.

Live Sound Engineer: Enhance live performances by managing sound systems, mixing live events, and ensuring optimal audio quality during concerts, festivals, and events.

Sound Editor: Edit and synchronize audio for films, TV shows, and other media productions, ensuring seamless integration of sound with visuals.

Sound Technician: Set up and maintain audio equipment for events, conferences, meetings, and other live settings.

To enroll, simply apply online. There is no application fee required. However, upon acceptance, you will need to make a deposit payment or adhere to your designated payment plan.

While prior technical knowledge can be beneficial, our course is designed to cater to both beginners and individuals with some background in audio. We’ll start from the basics and gradually progress to more advanced concepts.

A high school matriculation certificate is not prerequisite for enrolling in this course. If you do not possess a Matric certificate and have a minimum of grade 10, you can register for this short course.

You’ll have hands-on experience with industry-standard equipment such as microphones, mixers, amplifiers, and speakers. Additionally, you’ll work with software tools used for audio mixing and signal processing.
