1) Acknowledge that I understand the provisions of the declarations herein and am bound by the provisions of this registration, and the rules and procedures of REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY currently in force and/or which may be amended at a later date.
2) Acknowledge that I have familiarised myself with the prospectus of the relevant programme for which I have applied to register and certify that the information provided in this form is accurate and complete.
3) Confirm that I have to satisfy the requirements of due performance as laid down by REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY.
4) Hold myself responsible for the payment of full tuition fees relating thereto, notwithstanding the fact that my employer/sponsor has undertaken to pay the full tuition fees relating thereto.
5) Agree that where tuition fees are payable to REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY in instalments, failure to pay any single instalment timeously will result in the full amount owing becoming due and payable immediately.
6) Agree that REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY shall be entitled to recover from me all legal costs incurred in order to enforce its rights under this contract, including, but not by way of limitation, attorneys and own client fees and collection charges and all tracing charges.
7) Agree that REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY reserves the right to withhold programme/module results should there be any default an payments according to this signed Enrolment Contract.
8) Accept that if I choose a payment plan, I am in a position to fulfil my financial obligations to REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY.
9) Accept that I may cancel my registration for the current year of study as a whole and shall be exonerated from the liability for the full fee (excluding the registration fee) provided that REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY is informed in writing within 14 days of registration.
10)Agreement that REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY may approach credit agencies with a view of ascertaining my credit record and that in the event of me being in arrears with this account or failing to pay it, then REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY shall have an irrevocable right to inform credit agencies thereof.
11) Agree that should my account not be settled within the stipulated date my chosen plan option will be converted to plan.
12) non-settlement of plan 3 will attract a penalty.
13) Acknowledge that a certificate issued by REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY shall be proof of the full amount owing by the student for the purpose of all legal proceedings.
14) Acknowledge that, notwithstanding the existence of appeal processes, the academic judgement of REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY will be regarded as final.
15) Accept and agree to adhere to the rules, policies and procedures as set out by REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY) Agree to pay the non-refundable registration fee, which is included in all fees.
16) All learning materials and resources are to be used by the registered student only and cannot be shared or replicated under any circumstances, in part or full at any time. REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY has a vested right to all learning material, resources and related intellectual property. Confidentiality constitutes a serious aspect of the relationship between the student and REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY.
17) Portal access will be blocked and students removed from class if there are overdue payment of fees.
18) In the event that the Student fails to commence the course after having paid the registration fee, then such registration fee is to be forfeited and shall become non-refundable. Any additional monies paid by the Student or Sponsor shall be returned based on the discretion of REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY.
19) A deposit will be due and payable upon registration.
20) Either party will have the right to cancel this agreement in line with the cancellation policy of REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY by giving the other party prior written notice. Cancellations must be addressed to: The Head: Finance & Admin and emailed to account@REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY.edu.za or by hand and must include the date of sending the cancellation.
21) REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY shall not be held liable for any damages suffered as a result of any accident occurring on its premises and the Student hereby indemnifies REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY against any such claim or claims.
22) REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY makes no representation or warranty in respect of its lecturers. In the event that the Student is not satisfied as to the standard of teaching, the onus of proof thereof shall lie with the Student.
23) Upon enrolment, students are required to sign and adhere to REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY Code of Conduct.
24) Understand that REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY may keep and process data and documents in electronic format, including the personal data supplied by me in my application form and in this registration form, and my biometric and other identifying information (to be used solely for identification purposes); REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY may use and transfer such data and use such documents in electronic or other formats for purposes consistent with REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY’s relationship with me as a student and former student including submission of data for the National Learners’ Record Database and other returns as required by the Department of Higher Education and Training; Quality Council of Trade and Occupation that REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY places records of qualifications awarded in the public domain; that REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY may process my personal information in accordance with its rules and policies for academic and administrative purposes, including disciplinary processes and that REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY may use electronically generated documents in place of the originals signed by me.
The Sponsor Hereby Accepts And Agrees That:
25) All the terms and conditions of the agreement between the Student and REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY shall mutatis mutandis be binding on me.
In addition thereto, I hereby bind myself as surety and co-principal debtor for the Student in favour of REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY for the payment of all sums of money with the student who may now, or in future, become indebted to REVOLUTION MEDIA ACADEMY arising from whatsoever cause.
25.1. Cancellation Policy:
From date of course commencement a 1 week (Seven Days) cooling period will be allowed in which the cancellation of course will be accepted, the below terms and conditions apply:
Deposit/Registration Fee/Enrolment are not refundable
Any cancellation received between 14 days of registration but before course commencement, deposit will be retained and full course fees refundable.
If the student cancels within 1 week of course commencement, point I above applies and a further 10% of course fee will be charged.
If the student cancels after 1 week from course commencement the full course fee will be charged and are payable by the student/sponsor
25.2. Transfer
From date of course commencement a 1 week (Seven Days) cooling period will be allowed in which the student may transfer, the below terms and conditions apply:
Within the 1 week cooling period
- Transfer to a future intake
- 10% transfer/admin fee on course fees will be charged on any transfer to a future intake
- Course fees remain the same.
Transfer to a different delivery method
- 10% transfer/admin fee on course fees will be charged on any transfer of delivery method.
- Invoice will be adjusted to new delivery method cost.
Transfer to a different Qualification
- 10% transfer/admin fee on course fees will be charged on any transfer of Qualification.
- Invoice will be adjusted to new qualification cost
After the 1 week cooling period
- Transfer to a future intake
- 10% transfer/admin fee on course fees will be charged on any transfer to a future intake.
- Course fees will be adjusted to new intake course fees.
Transfer to a different delivery method
- No transfer to different delivery method will be accepted 1 week after course commencement, option to move to a future intake will be accepted.
- If you are not willing to move to a future intake, the cancellation policy applies.
Transfer to a different Qualification
- No transfer to different delivery method will be accepted after 1 week after course commencement, option to move to a future intake will be accepted (refer to the above)
- If you are not willing to move to a future intake, the cancellation policy applies.
