It is an ideal start if you’re considering working in a professional studio, recording bands & Mixing & Mastering their music Albums or Music Production technology as a new career path.

- Applications are available year-round. However, it’s important to highlight that the program begins twice a year, specifically on Saturdays, providing a part-time schedule.
Learners will undergo internal assessment, which includes both formative and summative assignments, tests, and projects. Upon successful completion of the summative assessment, participants will become eligible for certification in the short course.
Composer:
As a composer, you can create original music for various mediums such as films, television shows, commercials, video games, and theater productions. Your ability to evoke emotions through music is crucial in enhancing storytelling and creating immersive experiences.
Music Producer:
Dive into the process of music production, from composing and arranging to overseeing recording sessions. Collaborate with artists to bring their musical visions to life. Gain insights into music industry trends and marketing strategies.
Studio Session Musician: If you’re a skilled instrumentalist, you can contribute to music recordings by playing instruments on various projects, adding your unique touch to compositions.

In our Music Production Course, we prominently utilize Logic Pro X as our primary software for practical learning. Logic Pro X is a robust digital audio workstation that provides an extensive toolkit for music creation, editing, and production. It’s widely recognized in the industry and offers an excellent platform for students to develop their music production skills.
In addition to Logic Pro X, we also introduce students to other Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs). This exposure to multiple DAWs helps students gain a well-rounded understanding of different software tools used in the field. This comprehensive approach ensures that our students are prepared to navigate a variety of platforms and excel in diverse music production scenarios.
A high school matriculation certificate is not prerequisite for enrolling in this course. If you do not possess a Matric certificate and have a minimum of grade 10, you can register for this short course.
